IWES is dedicated to improving the physical, mental, and spiritual health and quality of life for women of color and their families. The Sexual & Reproductive Health Advocacy Project (SRHAP) is a participatory action research project designed to advocate for services, resources and policies in post-Katrina New Orleans that support a reproductive justice agenda, particularly mental, sexual and reproductive health services for underserved women, their families and communities.
