Health Educator – Northwestern University

Northwestern University is seeking qualified applicants for a Health
Educator, with special expertise in the areas of sexual assault
prevention and sexual health education.

Specific responsibilities include:

    * Developing, promoting, marketing, implementing and evaluating
programming targeted to the reduction of sexual assault and the
promotion of healthy sexuality.
    * Assuming a leadership role in coordinating the University's
response to sexual assault including development of a sexual assault
task force, improvements to the University's sexual assault reporting
options.
    * Serving as a resource and advocate to individual student victims
of
sexual violence.   

Minimum Qualifications:

    * A master's degree or the equivalent combination of education,
training and experience from which comparable skills and abilities may
be acquired.
    * Experience with primary and secondary prevention initiatives in
college health.
    * Experience developing and/or delivering sexual health education
and sexual assault prevention programming.
    * Experience in a college or university setting.
    * Ability to prepare and effectively deliver education programs and
materials to university students.
    * Ability to collaboratively partner with a multitude of
stakeholders, on-or off-campus.
    * Demonstrated commitment to diversity.
    * Excellent communication (written and verbal) as well as general
