Volunteers needed
L.A.Y.E.S. needs your help with our Family Involvement Enhancement Project. The project operates from the Louisiana Children’s Museum and involves a parent training workshop given by a speaker from the Louisiana Federation of Families while the children engage in fun, therapeutic arts and craft activities with a child psychologist. We need friendly, dedicated volunteers to assist families and help mentor the children during their activities.

Country Programs Manager
The Country Programs Managers in this program will work with officials in Ministries of Health, leading obstetricians and midwives, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and distributors to enable them to register misoprostol for post-partum hemorrhage and develop a positive policy environment. The Country Programs Manager will also work closely with in-country partners to develop distribution networks, expand program reach, and ensure success of these large-scale programs. Each Country Programs Manager will be responsible for this project in two to four countries, and will be expected to travel to these countries.

Senior Health Coordinator – Southern Sudan
The Senior Health Coordinator is responsible for the design, implementation and overall management and integration of the ARC South Sudan Health Program, working under the supervision of the Country Director and in collaboration with the Area Coordinators, grants/reporting officer, Logistics Manager and Finance Controller. The SHC will directly supervise the HIV/GBV program team, the PHC Coordinator and the Malakal Reproductive Health Coordinator. The Senior Health Coordinator is based in Juba, with extensive travel to field locations. The Senior Health Coordinator will also directly liaise with the ARC HQ based health team.

Reproductive Health Coordinator-Darfur
The ARC health program in South Darfur aims to improve access to basic health care services in South Darfur through capacity building, provision of material support and emergency preparedness and response. ARC supports over 14 clinics in rural areas as well as one clinic in an IDP camp setting. As reproductive health is an integral part of the ARC health program, each clinic has an RH unit incorporated.

The internship can last a maximum of six months, with start and end dates flexible and is unpaid. School Health and Nutrition internship – Afghanistan
The intern will assist Save the Children Afghanistan Country Office School Health and Nutrition (SHN) programming through developing materials for Child-Focused Health Education activities as well as test Adolescent Development (AD/ARSH) materials. The intern will also support program development through conducting a simple qualitative study and providing photography technical assistance in rural northern Afghanistan.
